I never believed that one day I would be expressing all I feel about you. It started like a dream when I saw myself walking close to a beach with someone who holding my hand tightly. The moment we exchanged pleasantries, it felt like a wave of shock coursed through my arteries and veins, leaving me confused. When I managed to glance at your handsome face again, I caught you also looking steadily at me. You could see how I smiled. I thought to myself, “Maybe we have the same chemistry.”
Our journey continued with our eyes meeting repeatedly. I can clearly remember how you couldn’t resist any longer and reached out for the novel with me. It seemed the journey was very short, as the taxi driver announced that we had finally reached our destination. I wondered if this meant I wouldn’t see you again or have the chance to tell you how I feel about you. You seemed to be in a hurry and quickly handed my novel back to me.
I got home feeling confused. I knew instantly that there was a great connection between us. Without hesitating, reached for my novel, believing that since you had touched it, it would bring a little bit of relief from my state of helplessness. After holding the novel close to my chest, I decided to drop it on the table. Immediately, the first page of the novel opened, and I saw a note written on it: “Hi beautiful lady, I love you. That’s what my mind told me. Do not hesitate to reach out to me through this number.”
I immediately grabbed my phone and dialed your number. You responded as if you had been expecting my call. Our conversation flowed seamlessly. I discovered that we had a lot in common. I couldn’t question you further about whether your feelings were true or not because my heart already told me that I may have found the love of my life this time around.
Our first outing was one of my best moments. It seemed as if we had known each other for a long time. The laughter, the stories, and everything about that day have lived in my memory forever. To my great surprise, when it was time to say goodbye, you handed me a bouquet of roses. I promised that I would give you a gift that would last for a long time.
Each moment that I spend with you adds something special to my life. The journeys, night hangouts, phone conversations, and surprises all make me feel as if I’m on top of the world.
The best thing that has ever happened to me was the day you asked me to be the love of your life, your life partner, and your soulmate. I remember how I didn’t think twice before saying yes. From the moment we sealed our love in holy matrimony until now, I still count you as the best gift from God to me.
