
Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim is celebrating consecutive achievements as she adds another feather to her cap. The light-skinned actress recently became the first-ever President of Women in Film and Television (WIFT) Ghana. The organization aims to empower women, create opportunities, and champion inclusion and visibility. The actress shared the good news on her social media handles and also expressed her willingness to move the organization forward.

Recently, the actress earned a degree in marketing communications from the University of Berkeley. Subsequently, she joined the Advisory Boards of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival (BINFF). Her latest achievement is joining WIFT.

“I am deeply honored to share that I have been appointed as the first-ever President of Women in Film and Television Ghana (WIFT) Ghana @wiftghana a monumental step forward for our creative community. This milestone is not just a personal achievement, but a powerful moment for all women across Ghana’s and Africa’s film, TV, and digital media, industies who continue to break barriers, amplify stories and reshape narratives in front of and behind the camera. WIFT proudly joins the global network of Women in Film and Television International (WIFTI) and is affiliated with WIFT Africa, strengthening our ties across continents while remaining rooted in our local mission: *Empower Women. *Create opportunities *Champion inclusion and visibility. As president, I’m committed to fostering collaboration, mentorship, and long-term impact, for emerging and established women creatives, with a special focus on uplifting youth, story tellers and innovators across all regions.
