American singer and songwriter Ciara visited Nigeria for the popular Lagos Fashion Week 2025. The actress left an indelible mark and added more glamour to the event with her presence and style. The event, which ran from October 29 to November 3, took place at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island. Her visit coincided with her birthday, and she also received a commemorative plaque from the governor of Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during her visit to the Lagos House, Marina.
The superstar and Grammy-winning singer embraced the country’s various cultural attires as she can be seen rocking various styles of it. One of the cultural attires that she wore which caught our attention was an Ijaw bride-inspired outfit by fashion designer Sandrah Tubobereni under the brand name “Tubo.”
Ciara dazzled in the well embellished gold textured corset with a multicolored striped native plaid George fabric wrapped around the waist and knotted in the front into a mini skirt, and matching plaid straps from the top tied on the shoulders, a true representation of African rich cultural heritage. Ciara elevated her look by wearing light-colored open-toed heels with ankle straps. Her center parted long sleek straight hair gave a more admirable look.
