Over the weekend, the city of Akwa Ibom was painted green as fashionable ladies from both Nigeria and Ghana graced the traditional wedding of Nollywood actress, Eve Esin and her heartthrob. One of the things that could be observed in celebrity weddings that have taken place so far this year in Nigeria is that green color is always given a place. One would begin to wonder if it is because green is among the colors that the country is known for. Perhaps, the groom, who is a Ghanaian, also played in concord with this color, as it should be noted that Ghanaian also have a penchant for green colors.
